The Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to Grade III of the Central Provincial Management Service Officers Service will be conducted in December 2026.

Recruitment will be made to Grade III of the Central Provincial Management Service Officers Service.

🎯 Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years
• Age is calculated as at 16.10.2026.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

• G.C.E. (O/L) – Pass in 6 subjects at one sitting, including 4 Credit Passes with Language and Mathematics.
• G.C.E. (A/L) – Pass in all subjects at one sitting, excluding the Common General Test.
• All required qualifications must be completed on or before 16.10.2026.

💰 Salary

Rs. 48,470 – 10×540 – 11×630 – 10×1,010 – 10×1,190 – Rs. 82,800

🏛️ Permanent and pensionable post

🏛️ District Eligibility

Applicants can compete for vacancies in only ONE district.

• Kandy – District No. 04
• Matale – District No. 05
• Nuwara Eliya – District No. 06

Applicants must have permanent residence in the selected district for at least 3 continuous years within the 5 years immediately preceding the closing date.

📚 Examination Papers

✔️ Minimum 40% for each subject
✔️ Minimum 50% for the total examination

💳 Examination Fee

Rs. 600.00

Payment must be made through the payment methods provided in the online application system.

⚠️ Important Points

• Selected candidates will be required to serve at an assigned workplace within the Central Province.
• The officer shall generally serve at the first assigned station for at least 5 years.
• The post is permanent and pensionable.
