The Department of Technical Education and Training, under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, has called for applications from eligible Sri Lankan citizens for 99 permanent posts of Field Assistant (Laborer) in the Primary – Non-Skilled Service Category, Grade III.

🟢 Field Assistant (Laborer) – Grade III

💰 Salary Scale: Rs. 40,000 – (450 x 10) – (490 x 10) – (540 x 10) – (590 x 12) – 61,880/- (PL 1-2025)
🎓 Educational Qualifications:

Should have passed six (06) subjects with two (02) credit passes in not more than two sittings at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.

💻 Additional Qualifications & Preferences:

• Higher preference and special preference will be given to occupational qualifications and experience relevant to the duties of the post.
• Must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.

🎯 Age Limit

18 – 45 Years

Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as at the closing date of receipt of applications.

📝 Selection Method

• Selection will be made on the order of merit based on the highest marks scored at a Structured Interview conducted by a Competence Assessment Interview Panel.
• Appointments are permanent and pensionable, subject to a 3-year probationary period.
