The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2024 GCE.O/L Examination is scheduled to be held in March next year.

Commissioner General of Exams, Amith Jayasundara, stated that the exact dates will be announced in due course.

Commissioner General Jayasundara also mentioned that the GCE.A/L Examination is planned to commence on November 25th and will continue until December 20th.

The aim is to conduct the next GCE.O/L Examination in March 2024, with precise dates to be provided later. The goal is to minimize delays and return to a normal examination schedule by 2026.
