Scholarship for GCE A/L Students 2026 – Department of Muslim Religious & MCF

NOTICE
Scholarship Scheme for G.C.E. Advanced Level Students – 2026

For the year 2026, scholarships will be awarded by the Muslim Cultural Fund (MCF) functioning under the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs to students studying who are sitting for the G.C.E. Advanced Level (General) Examination.

This scholarship scheme is implemented with the objective of encouraging talented students from low-income families. Among students who are appearing for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination, those who excel in academic performance, discipline, and social activities will be selected.

Eligible applicants are required to correctly complete the prescribed application form and submit it on or before 31st January 2026. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

All applications will be carefully evaluated, and scholarships will be awarded only to students who meet the required qualifications. Selected candidates will be officially informed accordingly.

Documents to be submitted along with the application

1. Duly completed application form

2. Certified copy of G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination results

3. Birth certificate

4. Family income certificate issued by the Grama Niladhari

5. Confirmation letter from the Mosque (Low income)

6. Recommendation/confirmation letter from the Principal of School
