In accordance with the Sri Lanka Public Service Vacancy Filling Scheme, steps have been taken to fill the vacancies in the Management Service Officer Service. 2,170 persons from all over the island have qualified for the interview examination for these vacancies.

In the open competitive examination conducted by the Commissioner of Examinations on the eighteenth of May last for recruitment to the third grade of this service, two thousand one hundred and seventy persons from twenty-five districts across the island have qualified for the interview examination based on the marks.

The interview examination for these persons will be held for three days on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of this month at the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government located at Independence Square, Colombo.
